2017 SAGA began tonight.

SAGA started up again properly this evening, with at least 20 people playing board games at one point, and some others arriving once early departures had happened. There seemed to be a fair amount of simple, social, games that I've little interest in. But there were a few play Castles of Mad King Ludwig, and an individual showed interest in some of the more involved games during a discussion about game types. I'm expecting Thursday night to be smaller based on past years but with that I may be able to play something more substantial.

As of Monday afternoon I've decided that I won't be gaming most Monday nights for the foreseeable future. I was no longer getting to game as long as I wanted, making the walk there and back too long for what I was getting from the evening out. Since five years ago it's gone from maybe 15 minutes of walking total and more than four hours of gaming, to nearly 90 minutes of walking and barely three hours of gaming.

Yesterday after I got home I noticed that my smartphone wasn't charging, and after pulling the cable and trying a different USB port realised it was something more problematic. There's still some connection, as a little red LED goes on when I plug in the cable, but there's no charging at all. Being without Snapchat is bothering me, I don't know if I'm getting messages/pics from my ex, my friend in the U.K. and I know I'm missing things from a few "famous" people. Getting around without music has been odd as well, I quickly got used to the audio. On the upside, I napped during my lunch break today as I couldn't play games like I've been doing for most of the past four months.
